Mannequin Still Life
7th grade students spent 9 weeks learning about observational drawing techniques. Students placed a wooden mannequin in an action pose and photographed it trying to following the Rule of Thirds design principle. Using the photo, students followed a one inch grid and enlarged the image to twice the size. Student then selected colored pencil, watercolor pencil, or watercolor paint to render their final artwork.
